Located in Essonne, 35 km south of Paris, this 1400m² castle built in 1848, with a classical and very balanced architecture, was completely restored according to the rules of the art in 2012. With a harmonious style on the four facades, the castle is characterized by its Mansart roof, its balusters present on the 3 living levels, its facades in cut stone and stucco, the ordered pilasters on the ground floor and upstairs, its arched French windows... The interior of the castle surprises above all by the open volumes with rooms that are both vast and proportionate. The entrance hall with its masterful staircase sets the tone as soon as you walk through the door: marble, columns, cut stone, ironwork and high ceilings. The 4 reception rooms facing the park are of the same caliber: large glass doors guaranteeing permanent light, herringbone parquet floors, marble fireplaces, mirrors, moldings, gilding and a particularly successful set of woodwork in the music room. The contemporary kitchen fitted on the ground floor fits perfectly with the whole. On the first floor, a master suite, including a large bedroom with a dominant view of the park, a bathroom, a dressing room and a gym. The entire English-style park is harmonious and offers unobstructed views of the valley, it extends to the east by a wooded part with varied species. Several golf courses are located nearby. Access to the property is easy from Paris via the A6 motorway or from Charles de Gaulle airport via the Francilienne.
